Bought a new sketchbook, which means: more foul-mouthed mermaids!

Due to some video card issues, I haven’t been able to veg out in front of my laptop all day during this break and as such, have been unable to efficiently upload images. Happy new year! What I do have access to at home, though, is a scanner….maybe I’ll scan some things…..

Now that just doesn’t look right at all.

Earlier this summer, and right before I came back to school, my family lost a longtime friend to suicide.

I’ve been sitting on this a long time, trying to figure out what to say along with this. I still don’t know, but if you are ever on the verge of committing a similar act –  get help.

Something from this summer that I haven’t touched in a while…..I would love to reproduce this digitally and clean it up some. Who knows when that’ll happen?

This weekend was spent working on a little somethin somethin for my friend Emily, who 1) is gallivanting around Europe currently and 2) I do not appreciate as much as I should. Here’s a teaser of what’s making its way to her right now – nothing too special, but something I hope she will enjoy nonetheless.

For whatever reason, my brother decided to take his new profile photo with the cat.
